On Wednesday, February 4th, Right at Home Realty presented our CEO John Gerrard with a cheque for $5,000 at their office meeting in Burlington. With locations throughout Halton, the brokerage made the admirable decision to take the larger annual donation they usually give and split the sum up amongst the Habitat affiliates in their communities instead. 2015 Build Season Starts Soon!
We're getting so close to starting work at our Milton build site again, but WE NEED YOUR HELP! Habitat is in great need of volunteers to help us build two hardworking families a safe and affordable place to call home.
We're looking to recruit:
- ON-SITE HOSPITALITY SERVICES: volunteers to be part of our build site "concierge" team.
- WEEKDAY CREW LEADERS: volunteers with construction/renovation experience to lead a small group of volunteers on our build site.
- CREW LEADER TRAINING TEAM MEMBERS:
tradespeople who may NOT want to be Crew Leaders on a construction site, but would be interested in helping to develop our Crew Leader Training program and/or help train other Crew Leaders.
